Life, although it may only be an accumulation of anguish, is dear to me, and I will defend it.
— Mary Shelley
A foggy forest path with tall trees covered in moss and fallen leaves, illuminated by soft, warm light in the distance.
A woman with dark hair, wearing a patterned black dress, smiles and poses with one hand on her hip, standing outdoors near a large concrete pillar with greenery and water in the background.

With 15+ years in mental health, I honor survivorship, human complexity, and our evolving selves. I study the neurology, biology, and psychology of adversity and use that expertise to help clients find relief, meaning, recovery, and integration.

Trauma study—both formal training and clinical work—grounds my approach. I don’t claim everyone is traumatized, but traumatic stress is often underestimated and commonly coexists with other mental and physical issues. I blend trauma-focused care with holistic, innovative, person-centered methods tailored to each client.

I’m a trained EMDR & DBR therapist, clinical hypnotherapist, and I hold the advanced certificate in the theory and treatment of Complex Trauma and Dissociative Disorders from the International Society for the Study of Trauma + Dissociation.

I founded Well Psychotherapy in New Orleans to center trauma-informed, accessible care and to mentor clinicians. I now split time between Detroit and New Orleans and am bringing this intentional care to Michigan.
